Community Guidelines

Version 1.0.0 · Last updated 31 August 2026

This is the same policy shown in the CampusEduX mobile app.

CampusEduX is a space for students to learn, build projects and prepare for placements. These Community Guidelines apply to everything you submit or do on the Service — reviews, resume and profile content, Custom Project Builder text, uploaded files, referral activity and support messages. They form part of the Terms & Conditions.

Breaking these guidelines can lead to content removal, feature restrictions, loss of rewards, or suspension or termination of your account.

1. Be respectful

  • No harassment, bullying, threats or targeted attacks against any person.
  • No hate speech or content that demeans people based on religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, place of origin or similar characteristics.
  • No sexually explicit content, and no content that sexualises minors in any way.

2. No spam or manipulation

  • No bulk, repetitive or irrelevant content, and no unsolicited advertising or promotion.
  • No fake, paid, incentivised or retaliatory reviews; review only what you have genuinely used.
  • No manipulation of the referral programme, wallet, rewards, ratings, leaderboards or analytics — including self-referrals, fake accounts and coordinated activity.

3. No scams or fraud

  • No phishing, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or attempts to trick other users or staff.
  • No selling, advertising or soliciting off-platform deals to avoid fees or protections.
  • No misuse of the job or application features — for example, fake listings, fake applications, or collecting other users' data.

4. No impersonation or misrepresentation

  • Do not impersonate another person, a company, an institution or CampusEduX staff.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity, affiliation, qualifications or experience in your profile, resume or applications.

5. Respect intellectual property

  • Only upload or submit content you have the right to use.
  • Do not post paid project source code publicly or share it with others (see the Project License Policy).
  • Do not remove required copyright or attribution notices, or pass off others' work as your own where that is dishonest.

6. Keep it safe and legal

  • No malware, viruses, or files designed to harm devices or systems.
  • No content that is unlawful, promotes illegal activity, or facilitates cheating in violation of an institution's rules.
  • No attempts to break, probe or bypass the Service's security, rate limits or access controls.

7. No misleading information

Do not post content you know to be false or misleading in a way that could harm others — including fake placement claims, fake company information, or misleading academic guarantees.

8. Reporting violations

If you see content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines, email support@campusedux.app with a description and, where possible, a screenshot and the location in the app. Reports are reviewed by our team. Do not file reports in bad faith.

9. Moderation and enforcement

  • We may review, remove or restrict content that breaches these guidelines, with or without prior notice.
  • Depending on severity and history, we may warn you, remove content, limit features, reverse rewards or wallet amounts, or suspend or terminate your account.
  • Serious cases (fraud, threats, CSAM, illegal activity) may be reported to the relevant authorities.
  • If you believe an action was a mistake, you can appeal by replying to the notice or emailing grievance@campusedux.app.
