Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0.0 · Last updated 31 August 2026

This is the same policy shown in the CampusEduX mobile app.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CampusEduX mobile application and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by an individual operating under the unregistered trading name “CampusEduX” in India. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Project License Policy, the Community Guidelines and the Disclaimer, each of which is part of these Terms.

This document is not legal advice. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and the linked policies. We may require you to re-accept an updated version before you continue using the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You must be capable of forming a binding contract under Indian law.

3. Account registration and security

  • You must provide accurate, current and complete information (name, email, mobile number) and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password and device secure.
  • One person may hold one account. Do not share your account or use another person's account.
  • Tell us immediately at support@campusedux.app if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. User responsibilities and accurate information

You agree to use the Service lawfully and in line with the Community Guidelines. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, including profile details, resume content, job applications and Custom Project Builder requirements. Submitting false, misleading or impersonating information may lead to suspension or termination.

5. Projects: academic, personal, business and custom

Marketplace projects

The Service offers project resources and source code for purchase, categorised for academic, personal or business/commercial use. What you may do with a purchased project is governed by the Project License Policy and by the category and terms shown at the time of purchase.

Custom Project Builder

You can request a custom project by selecting a project type (academic, personal or business), level, platform and features. To submit a request you pay a non-refundable token amount (Academic ₹1,500 / Personal ₹3,000 / Business ₹6,000 at the current pricing). The token confirms your request and is adjusted against the project scope; it is not the full project price.

The estimated total shown in the builder is an estimate. Final scope, price, timeline and deliverables are confirmed with you after the request is received. Delivery depends on you providing required inputs and feedback in reasonable time.

6. Project license and intellectual property

  • All Service content — software, text, design, logos, question banks, notes and marketplace listings — is owned by CampusEduX or its licensors and is protected by law.
  • When you buy a project you receive a limited license as set out in the Project License Policy. You do not acquire ownership of the underlying intellectual property except where a Custom Project's written terms expressly assign it.
  • You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or publicly publish paid project source code, remove copyright notices where prohibited, or present someone else's work as your own original work.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email legal@campusedux.app with a description of the work, the location in the app, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act. We will review and remove infringing content where appropriate and may disable repeat infringers.

8. User-generated content and reviews

  • You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, resume content, custom-project descriptions, uploaded files). You grant CampusEduX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display and process that content solely to operate and support the Service.
  • Reviews must reflect genuine experience. Fake, paid, incentivised or retaliatory reviews are not allowed and may be removed.
  • You are responsible for having the rights to any file you upload. Do not upload malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing or violates the Community Guidelines.

9. Jobs and placement preparation

  • Job listings may come from third parties and can change or expire without notice. CampusEduX is not the employer and is not a party to any hiring decision.
  • Applying through the Service does not guarantee a response, interview or offer.
  • Placement preparation, practice tests, aptitude/DSA/HR material and analytics are study aids. They do not guarantee any exam result, score, interview or placement.

10. Resume builder

The Resume Builder helps you create and export resumes. ATS scores and suggestions are automated estimates, not a guarantee of shortlisting or hiring. You are responsible for the accuracy of your resume content.

11. Premium services

Premium is a paid subscription billed monthly or yearly through the payment gateway, plus applicable taxes. Benefits are those described on the Premium screen at the time of purchase and may evolve. You can cancel from the app; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. Wallet

  • The wallet is a stored-value balance for use within the Service. It is not a bank account, earns no interest, and is not a payment instrument outside the Service.
  • Wallet credits come from top-ups you pay for and from referral rewards. Your balance is calculated from your transaction ledger.
  • Withdrawal requests (where enabled) are paid to the UPI ID you provide and are processed within 3–5 business days, subject to verification. We may hold or reverse amounts linked to fraud, chargebacks or policy violations.

13. Referral programme

You may share your referral code with people you personally know. Rewards are credited according to the rules configured in the app at the time (for example, on a referred user's first purchase). Self-referrals, fake accounts, bulk/spam distribution and any manipulation of the programme are prohibited and may result in forfeiture of rewards and account action.

14. Payments, orders and pricing

  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and may include a platform fee and applicable taxes (for example GST on Premium).
  • The final payable amount is calculated and verified on our server. An entitlement (project access, Premium, wallet credit) is granted only after the payment signature is verified server-side.
  • If you are charged but do not receive the entitlement, contact support@campusedux.app — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

15. Downloads and delivery

Purchased projects and generated resumes are delivered digitally within the app. Access to purchased files is tied to your account and your entitlement. You are responsible for downloading and keeping your own copies while your entitlement is active.

16. Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

17. Prohibited activities

  • Breaking the law, infringing others' rights, or violating the Community Guidelines.
  • Reselling or redistributing paid content; scraping, bulk-downloading or reverse-engineering the Service except as permitted by law.
  • Interfering with security features, rate limits, payment verification or access controls; probing or attacking the Service or other users' data.
  • Uploading malware; impersonation; spam; manipulating reviews, referrals, wallet or analytics.
  • Automated access (bots, scripts) without our written permission.

18. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

On termination, your license to use purchased content ends unless a Custom Project's written terms say otherwise, and sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) continue to apply.

19. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content is accurate or complete. See the Disclaimer for details, including that we do not guarantee any employment, interview, placement or academic outcome.

20. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CampusEduX and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, marks, placement or opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to CampusEduX in that period, or (b) ₹1,000.

21. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CampusEduX and its operator from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

22. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including the payment gateway (Razorpay Software Private Limited), the cloud infrastructure provider (Supabase) and Google sign-in. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

23. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

We may add, change, suspend or remove features at any time. We may update these Terms; the version number and effective date are shown at the top of this document. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

24. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at [GOVERNING CITY, STATE], India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms. Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to first contact legal@campusedux.app to attempt a good-faith resolution.
